The poem by Robert Frost of the same name is the inspiration for
these 24 card designs featuring black and white photographs of roses. Each design contains a line from
the poem or line from another poem dedicated to those most luxurious of blooms. The first 10 designs contain
the lines from Robert Frost's poem "The Rose Family." Designs 11 and 12 are from a stanza of
"Ethan Esmary," and designs 13 through 15 are lines from a stanza of "A Flower for Honey"
by Peter S. Quinn. Designs 16 through 18 are from poems by Emily Dickinson, and design 19 is a line from
"Summer's Rose" by Dominic Windram. Design 20 is the first line of the well-known poem by Robert Burns,
and design 21 is a line by George Eliot. Design 22 is a line from "Sweet Roses in Red" by Peter S. Quinn,
and design 23 is a line by Emily Dickinson. The last design is a line from "During Wind and Rain" by
Thomas Hardy.
