earrings, complete with bronze mermaids. The shell-shaped borosilicate lampwork glass beads
are handcrafted by artisans, as well as the soft pink teardrops. Artists at Unicorne Beads in
California create each bead by hand, using a torch flame to shape the bead and finishing the bead
in a high temperature kiln for strength and durability. The rich colors and patterns are created
through use of dichroic glass, a glass developed for aerospace with multiple layers of metal oxides
that happens to showcase brilliant optical properties in addition to the resiliency required for
spacesuits. Bronze mermaids reach for rings in the 2" drop earrings featuring the
lampwork glass shell beads and A grade freshwater rice pearls. The necklace is secured with
an easy to fasten bronze hook and eye clasp, and the earrings have solid bronze ear wires.
