Prickly pear is common in the Southwest, a region with optimal growing
conditions for this trunk-forming, segmented cactus. It's characterized by
clusters of round pads and produces globular fruit favored by birds and
other desert dwellers, including Tohono O'odham people who have lived
in the Sonoran Desert for millennia. These 1.5" earrings feature sterling
silver cactus charms over copper oval drops hanging from sterling silver earwires.
