This relaxed 24" sterling silver necklace features a color-rich sterling silver pendant
with paua shell and tourmaline gemstones in pink and green. The pendant hangs from a section
of sterling silver chain spaced with sterling silver beads and smooth glass pearls.
One side of the chain is a simple
sterling silver toggle for easy fastening, and the other is a 1" turquoise leather link
with handwritten script "be like water" that is good advice learned from
half a lifetime of observing that the greatest good is like water; it gives life and
does not strive and flows in places men reject. This is from Chapter 8 of the Tao Te Ching,
a classic Chinese text similar in age to the Hebrew Bible.
