Add some regalty to your wardrobe. Hatshepsut was the 5th Pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt (c. 1479 BC - 1458 BC). Initially, she ruled as
regent to Thutmose III (stepson who inherited the throne at age two), but she assumed the role as pharaoh and co-ruler several
years into her regency. She was a prolific builder and emphasized trade rather than battles with neighbors.
This 18" double strand necklace features the gemstones chrysoprase and lapis lazuli, both favored by ancient
Egyptians. The central sterling silver pendant has an inset lapis lazuli gemstone and faceted blue topaz gemstone, and
two carved lapis lazuli scarabs are near the ends connecting with the sterling silver chain. The gemstones are
handknotted on natural silk cord for superior fluidity and strength, and the necklace fastens with a larger
sterling silver toggle clasp.
