An octopus has a large central nervous relative to its body size, though
its mental organization and "intelligence" differ quite
substantially from our own! We think their tentacles have a greater degree of
control over themselves than limbs controlled by a more centrally organized brain such as
those of a mammal, reptile, amphibian, or bird. This means that creeping tentacle might
be doing so with a mind of its own....
This 40" bright yellow-green silk cord has a 3" wide copper
