The idea for this silvery, fluid 20" necklace was born watching rain drops slide down a glass window. Lovely Czech glass teardrops had the shape of those drops and I wanted a necklace that had the feel of those falling and sliding rain drops. The base is a sterling silver open link chain to which the teardrops were secured in a cascading fashion.

Care & cleaning: Clean with warm soapy water and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on silver.

The beads and chain should withstand determined toddler tugs and pulls, though the wire wrapping the beads to the chain may be distorted (it may be gently straightened). As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.

This 20" necklace can be worn with a variety of necklines, from higher boatnecks to scoop necks and v-necks. Given its fluid drape and smaller size, it would also fit nicely under a jacket or blazer.
