Creamy white Swarovski glass pearls are like the loosely held group of stars in
the Pleiades star cluster. An open cluster is a group of stars formed from the
same giant molecular cloud within spiral or irregular galaxies. They orbit the
galactic center but they can become disrupted by close encounters with other
clusters and lose members. The Pleiades is a well-known open cluster visible in
the night sky near the constellation Orion. Most people can see six stars in the
Pleiades, but sharped-eyed observers may see more, such as 11 stars observed by the
mentor to Johannes Kepler - the same number of glass pearls in this 20" necklace.
Pearls float on coated stainless steel beading wire for great drape and easy wear.
Necklace has a simple sterling silver hook and eye clasp.

The components in this necklace are tough enough to handle curious tugs and pulls.
Pearls should be handled with care to avoid scratching. As with
all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
