In Greek mythology, Leto was a Titan and mother of the twins Apollo and Artemis. Apollo
was the god of sun and light, and Artemis was the goddess of the hunt and the moon.
This 17" gemstone rondelle necklace has representations of both in this tribute
to a titan: sparkling sunstone and iolite like the dark of night. Sunstone is a variety of
labradorite with hematite inclusions for the orange-red color, and iolite is a blue cordierite
also known as "water sapphire." Natural crazy lace agate rounds connect the
different but brilliant gemstones, and the necklace is fastened with a copper toggle clasp.
