Jasper in a microcrystalline quartz, meaning that the crystalline structure is not
apparent to the eye. Yet, the patterns and colors of jasper can be just as dazzling, as
shown by this sample of Red Creek jasper from China. Jasper is a fairly broad characterization,
and this jasper is more like silicated Dolomite than traditional jasper.
The pendant is roughly 3" long with an intricate pattern and paired
with a milky quartz bead. A leather cord makes the necklace, and the clasp is an easy to use
S-hook. This necklace makes a good conversation starter and terrific accent to an outfit.
