The Italian mathematician Leonardo de Pisa was known as Fibonacci and his is the first western
European record of the recursion relation Fn = Fn-1 + Fn-2, in which every integer is the sum
of the two preceding numbers. Tiling these numbers creates what are called the Fibonacci squares, and
the Fibonacci spiral is created by connecting opposite corners in the squares. Pretty cool!
The sterling silver and bronze pendant is a replica of these squares and spiral, and it hangs from
a multistrand coated stainless steel wire necklace with sleek torsion clasp.
