Some jewelry pieces are like clydesdales or appaloosas - lovely creatures that are true work horses. Others are like miniature ponies: charming but perhaps not as useful. This 27" necklace featuring an immense chrysocholla bead falls under the latter category; the gemstone pendant is interesting and beautiful but not a practical wear item. The brushed silver bead and sheer size of the gemstone inspired the name, and as we learned from Saturday Night Live, who couldn't use more cowbell?

Care & cleaning: Clean with warm soapy water and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on silver.

The materials are sufficiently strong to withstand tugs and pulls, though the pendant is heavy and care should be taken that it doesn't drop, as it may injure a toe or the impact may crack the bead. As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
