In Greek mythology, Zephyr was the West Wind responsible for the gentle winds of returning spring;
even today, we refer to a light breeze as a zephyr. The cool blue of aquamarine and icy green
of the tourmaline crystals speak of the earliest days of spring when colors are pale and cool and the
winds have lost their icy edge and force,
before the arrival of the more tumultuous rains and gusts of April. The aquamarine gemstones are cut
in a pleasing, wavy puff pillow shape and the tourmaline gemstones are preserved close to their
natural state as cylindrical crystals. The 18" length can be shortened by moving the S-hook
clasp to different links in the sterling silver chain.

The top-drilled tourmaline crystals have narrow diameter holes and the thinner beading cord is
less robust to distortion and breakage from sustained hard tugs than thicker cord. As with
all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
