Blue-green aquamarine nuggets and aquamarine rondelles have the color of
water in this short 15" necklace that also has pale gray labradorite
nuggets like stones in creek beds. Aquamarine takes its name from Latin
for seawater, and the gemstones are known for calming blue-green color.
High grade gemstones are transparent, but opaque stones such as
these, particularly the green aquamarine stones,
have interesting color as well as being economical.
Although the necklace can be worn as
a short necklace, it works well as a double-wrapped bracelet. A strong
silver-plated brass magnetic clasp literally makes fastening a snap!
