Passionate rose red is the color of love found in three precious gemstones in this 20" multistrand necklace. The top strand is broadly cut pink tourmaline gemstone rondelles, and the lower two strands contain faceted ruby gemstone and pink sapphire gemstone rondelles. Ruby and sapphire are both corundum minerals, but the distinct deep red color is reserved for rubies while paler pink colors are sapphires. Both are precious! The gemstones are spaced with sterling silver, and the strands attach to sterling silver connectors and open oval chain, ending with a fine square toggle clasp. This deeply colored necklace makes an elegant accessory that complements fine or casual wear.
