This 22" slim necklace features rose colored Dolomite marble and salmon pink lepidolite. Though not actually marble, Dolomite marble is like marble in that it is a sedimentary stone made of calcium carbonate that formed in shallow seas. However, it is harder than marble which makes it popular as an architectural material. Lepidolite is a lithium-rich mica, though maganese is the source of the pinkish color. These stones are interspersed with small Japanese Delica glass seedbeads, known for their saturated color and uniformity. The slim profile makes this a lightweight accessory as a single strand or an easy, casual bracelet as a multi-wrap. The silver-plated brass magnetic clasp literally makes the fastening a snap.

Care & cleaning: Beading cord may be frayed or severed through hard jerks or prolonged exposure to rough or sharp edges; store necklace flat when not in use to prevent stretching or fraying cord. Clean with warm soapy water and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on metal.

The materials and cord in this necklace are robust to most tugs and pulls, but care should be taken to prevent hard impacts which can damage the lepidolite. As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
