and cool silver in a stylish accessory great for a new show or exhibit. Sunstone gemstone beads of this size
and shape are unusual; most feldspar beads are smaller because these minerals tend to break at the
cleavage planes. Sunstone has tiny platelike inclusions of hematite oriented parallel to one another, leading
to the orange red color and schiller effect. Lapis lazuli is made of the mineral lazurite and has been a favored
gemstone since ancient times, used as decoration by Egyptian, Sumerian, Greek, Roman, and Chinese civilizations.
The gemstones and sterling silver beads are strung on thin sterling silver beading chain and attach to
round link chain. The necklace fastens with a sterling silver spring ring clasp.
