The Oort cloud is the most distant region of our solar system, a loose spherical shell of icy
mountain sized objects that is thought to be the source of most comets that zoom by the Earth on their long
eccentric orbit around the Sun. The loosely overlapping lines of the hypotrochoid "spirodoodle" in
these 3" long dangling earrings reminded me of these varied and sparse objects than occasionally tumble
into our view on their geometric orbits. Designs on the patina brass teardrops are between sterling silver chains
