A quick note on 14kt gold-fill components in this necklace: gold-fill is different than gold plating in the thickness and often the karat of gold used. These components conform to the standard of at least 5% solid 14kt gold by weight, which means about 10X thicker gold covering of base metal components than gold plating.

Care & cleaning: Store necklace flat when not in use to prevent stretching or kinking wire. Clean with warm soapy water and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners.

The wire can become distorted with hard pulls, so give the kids resistors instead. Just kidding! It would be best to keep this out of younger hands. As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
