The phrase "green thumb" applied to horticultural acumen appeared in
English publications and broadcasts around WWII to encourage home gardening, though its origins
may be older. Generally, having a "green thumb" means that one has a knack
for growing plants of all kinds. These 2" dangle earrings are not green, but they
feature wood, a lovely product of green life. The walnut leaves are imbedded with metal
foil, and they are attached to patina brass drops and paired with rustic wood beads.
