Pansies poking through the damp earth are some of the more pleasant harbingers of spring. These 18" amethyst gemstone necklaces feature banded amethyst (sometimes called chevron amethyst) as well as ametrine (amethyst / citrine transition zone), and the length of the smaller gemstone necklace can be adjusted to fit inside the larger necklace for maximum amethyst impact. Both necklaces are secured with sterling silver lobster clasps.

  • Japanese glass seedbeads
  • sterling silver lobster clasps (with chain)
  • Soft Flex nylon coated stainless steel cord (10 lb. load test)

Care & cleaning: Beading cord may be kinked or broken through hard jerks or severed through prolonged exposure to rough or sharp edges; store necklaces flat when not in use to prevent stretching or kinking cord. Clean with warm soapy water and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on silver.

The materials and beading cord are sufficiently strong to withstand tugs and pulls. As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.

These 18" necklaces can be worn with alone or together with a variety of necklines, from higher crew necks to moderate scoop necks and v-necks. The necklace with smaller amethyst beads has a sterling silver extension chain such that the length can be adjusted to fit inside the larger necklace, or it can be doubled and worn as a wrap bracelet.
