Like the Lab Tech earrings, these 3" drop earrings feature strong colors and interlocking circles, though the earrings here have more great circles and graceful tapered ear wires. An astrolabe is an early astronomical instrument that served as a star chart and physical model of visible heavenly bodies, and the interlocking great circles were the inspiration for these earrings. The sterling silver circles are oxidized (dark patina) or gold-plated (vermeil) or plain shining silver, and the marquise shaped ear wires are oxidezed silver with bronze metal wings. A graceful and fun accessory to liven most outfits.
