a long history, as shown by the Latin word "amuletum" as an object that protects one from trouble.
This amulet features an Australian Boulder opal with blue and white details that is
surrounded by Japanese tile glass. Boulder opal refers to thin seams and patches of opal surrounded by or
attached to its natural host rock, much of which is brown ironstone. The pendant hangs from an 18" satin gold-plate chain necklace with
a lobster claw clasp.
