On close inspection, rust shows intriguing patterns of color, like the ochre and
slate grey bands in the tiger iron and tiger eye stones in this 19" necklace.
Tiger iron is a metamorphic aggregate gemstone with bands of golden tiger eye,
dark hematite and red jasper. The matte gemstones in this necklace have a freeform
teardrop like shape, and they are complemented by rectangular red tiger eye,
nuggets of pyrite and dyed blue-gray freshwater pearls for an interesting
industrial inspired look. Clasp is a large vermeil
hook and eye.
