Large stone circles march in procession around this 19" Egyptian-inspired collar necklace with a Dolomite marble scarab. Dolomite marble is similar in composition to limestone but harder, which makes it a popular architectural material. Chalk turquoise is similar in appearance to turquoise though it lacks copper for coloration, which is why chalk turquoise is generally colored or dyed like the large coins here. This is a heavier, stiffer necklace that wears like a collar for dramatic effect. The clasp is a sterling silver toggle.

Care & cleaning: Beading cord may be frayed or severed through hard jerks or prolonged exposure to rough or sharp edges; store necklace flat when not in use to prevent stretching or fraying cord. Clean with damp soapy water and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on metal.

The materials and cord in this necklace are robust to tugs and pulls from most activities, but care should be taken to avoid hard impacts because the stones are a softer material. As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
