The phoenix has long symbolized transformation and rebirth, with its tears having
healing properties. Luminous freshwater pearls represent the tears within oxidized
silver marquise-shaped drops in these 2" drop earrings. Oxidized silver is silver
that has been treated with sulfur to create a darkened finish. The pearls are strung with
14kt gold-fill components, and the drops hang from lightweight oxidized silver ear wires.
