This 16"-17" necklace has simple building materials - copper, granite,
and plain stone - that come together in a beautiful way. Rich dark larvikite
(a kind of granite from labradorite) contrasts with light smooth feldspar in
a way that feels balanced and architectural. The length of the necklace can
be adjusted slightly, from 16" to 17", depending on the link used in
the copper toggle clasp. For some necklaces, one component stands out as the focal
piece of the necklace, but for this necklace, it is truly the sum of all the components
that creates something special.
