Burma jade is the mineral jadeite from Myanmar with interlocking granular crystals and
not to be confused with the mineral nephrite, whose appearance is more fibrous than blocky.
The 1" oval pendant in this 18" sterling silver necklace has the characteristic
pale green appearance of jadeite, but jadeite may also be pink or lilac in color. The gemstone
hangs from a sterling silver circular drop on a stiffer sterling silver square link chain.
The necklace fastens easily with a sterling silver S-hook clasp.
