Living in the Southwest, water becomes associated with that which is rare and precious. The image of "bountiful" then is one of abundant water, such as that spilling from an urn. The wenge wood focal piece has been hand-turned on a lathe and finished to a fine sheen. It's combined with leather, wood and copper for a rustic appearance with fine Italian murano lampwork glass beads.

Length: necklace - 22.5"

Materials:

  • wenge wood focal piece
  • stained wood beads
  • murano lampwork glass beads
  • copper beads
  • turquoise beads
  • suede leather lace & leather cord
  • copper wire and clasp

Care & cleaning: Wipe clean with damp washcloth and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Suede leather may stain so avoid contact with liquids.

The wooden urn along with copper wire and turquoise beads are likely to be a temptation for young hands and won't likely survive intact from determined "loving". As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.

This is a longer necklace and one that works well tucked around a turtleneck (though we wear them so seldomly in the Southwest). It's a casual style that works well with jeans and t-shirts.
