Affogato is a coffee-based Italian dessert made from ice cream topped with hot espresso, and this 17" necklace of coffee moonstone faceted nuggets and rose quartz teardrops has the rich colors of this sumptuous dish. Gleaming moonstones are relatively common gemstones, but natural coffee-colored gemstones are not. Smooth rose quartz teardrops complement the earthy browns and mellow gold. The necklace fastens easily with a vermeil hook and eye clasp and has 14kt gold-fill beads and components. This necklace pairs well with the Latte coffee moonstone rondelle necklace.

  • SoftFlex nylon-coated stainless steel beading cord

Care & cleaning: Beading cord may be kinked or broken through hard jerks or severed through prolonged exposure to rough or sharp edges; store necklace flat when not in use to prevent stretching or kinking cord. Clean with warm soapy water and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on metal.

This necklace should withstand plenty of "loving" from inquistive hands. The beading cord may fray and break if rubbed against rough edges, and the necklace is likely to break near the clasp with a sharp yank (such as catching it on something while moving forward with full body weight). As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
